Frequently asked questions
So what exactly are in these cookies?
So glad you asked! Mostly almond flour, honey and eggs. Then a few little magical things like arrowroot powder and baking soda and such.
The icing is meringue powder, confectioner's sugar (which does have a touch of cornstarch) and water.
Are these made in a gluten free kitchen?
The facility where these cookies are made does have gluten products in the kitchen. However, the equipment and utensils are used exclusively for these gluten free products and we take the utmost care to reduce any chance of cross-contamination.
Do you make a regular sugar cookie?
Not at this time - but seriously, people who try these continue to prefer them to traditional cookies!
How long will these cookies last? Can I freeze them?
They stay fresh for about 2-3 weeks after purchase or receipt of shipment, but they are AWESOME to freeze and taste perfect when thawed! So just put them in the freezer before or after your event to extend their life!
What kind of coloring do you use in the icing?
We use Americolor or Chefmaster food color brands, but can do all-natural dyes upon request! We use Chefmaster natural or TruColor.
What leadtime do you need for an order?
Depending on the style of cookie (Custom, Printed, SimplyCirlces, or Everyday) the leadtime varies, Custom cookies have the longest leadtime, anywhere from 3 weeks to three months. Reach out as early as possible to reserve your spot on the calendar. Spaces are limited.
Do you deliver locally? Do you ship?
No, but you can pickup at our Matthews locations, and during holidays we have a location in the South Park area for pickup. We do ship to the continental US.
